Session Summary: In this session, we will overview the need for developing content area literacy (6-12). High-yield content literacy strategies & resources will be shared in this session. Reflection time will be built in for determining the current state of literacy in the content areas and next steps.

Learning Intentions:

Overview the need for developing content area literacy
Learn about high-yield content literacy strategies & resources to use in the classroom
Reflect and brainstorm on the implementation of literacy strategies in the content area class
